The Wonderful World of British Literature

Synopsis of Class: A survey of the British Literature canon from the Anglo-Saxon period up to the Modern Era. Keystones along the way are Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Shakespeare. Major works studied include but not limited to: Beowulf, Grendel, Hamlet, Dracula, and Five People You Meet in Heaven. Class will also focus on a mastery of the Literary Criticism in order to improve student writing.
